The almighty God that has brought us thus far, will keep us through to the end of this year and beyond in Jesus name.

God has given each and everyone of us talents and diverse ability to use for the glory of His name and the expansion of His work here on earth. “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made [them] other five talents. And likewise he that [had received] two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money”. (KJV)Matt 25:15-18.

There is no person that has nothing to do when it comes to serving the Lord. So the question is “what is your service to the Lord”. How well did you serve the Lord in 2011? If you have done all you could in 2011, bless God, there is still room for improvement in 2012. “She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, [this] also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her”. (KJV) Mark 14:8-9. YOU CAN DO MORE.

God is able to make all grace abound towards you, to be able to do more exploit. If your case is different because you have not started, remember, He has given you at least one talent, so identify what you are able to do, do not delay, because His reward is with Him. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” . (KJV)Rev: 22:12

When the Lord sent a messenger to king Hezekiah, he was able to use his walk and service unto the Lord to pray and God’s verdict concerning him was changed. “I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord”. (KJV) 2 Kings 20:3, 5

As you serve Him, all your services and good works will speak gloriously. Remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, and as you determine to serve him whole heartedly now and in the years to come, it shall be well with you n Jesus name.
