He Has Been so Good
It is with great joy in my heart that I welcome you to this new year 2012. God has been our help in ages past and our hope for years to come. Look back to the 365 days of 2011, our passing through the year and crossing over successfully has been by the grace and mercy of the Lord. Let us take with us, the faithfulness of the Lord as we journey on in the new year.
"Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed [this] way heretofore. And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you" . (KJV) Joshua 3:4-5. For us to know the way we need to go in this new year, we need to seek His face in all and for all we will do this year. The Lord has promised us A GLORIOUS NEW THING in every area of our lives.
"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert". (KJV) Isaiah 43:18-19.
God will surely do a glorious new thing for us in everyday of 2012, we must not dwell in the past success, it must be seen as God’s faithfulness, and must be reflected on, because there are more lands to be possessed. Similarly, past failures must be studied, in order to know what to be corrected and avoided to be able to achieve maximum success.
He has promised you His ever abiding presence throughout the new year. "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen". (KJV) Matt 28:20.
Before you take any step this new year, seek the Lord to know exactly what He is saying, do not be guided by your flesh or your impulse. Let His spirit be your guide. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". (KJV) Rom. 8:14
Pay strong attention to the Lord’s teaching and instructions this year and it will surely be well with you in Jesus Name.
